Crow mount - behind the scenes

Recommended Posts

Hello Friend. I am a beginner in the taxidermy of birds and I have some doubts. After you take off the skin, how do you wash the feathers? How do you dry the feathers? How do you organize the penalties in place? Thank you!
Flesh the inside of the skin with a wire wheel.
Wash multiple times and soak in dawn dish soap and warm/hot water
Tumble dry in corn cob grit or just wrap tightly in a towel to get most of the water out then blow dry. Careful while drying you don't dry the inside the skin out.
Check out taxidermy.net forums for tons of info. Good luck!

Thank you!
I'm Brazilian and the taxidermy here is not much publicized.
It is difficult to find material and books on taxidermy, so thank you for the information we can exchange here.

Israel is that a black neck swan of some kind ? Never saw one before it is very cool.
