UPDATE - Winter Hike, 1/21

NEW TIME:  10:00 - 12:00, due to morning fog.  

 

NEW LOCATION: Sparta Mountain,  NOT Mahlon Dickerson,  Mahlon is closed for the winter. 

 

 

If you would enjoy some fresh air and exercise then come join us on Saturday January 21 for a 4 mile hike on Sparta Mountain.  We will meet at the Edison Monument parking lot on Edison rd. in Sparta.  The hike is from 10:00 - 12:00.   

 

Dogs and significant others are strongly encouraged to join us.  

 

Directions:

From rt. 517 in Ogdensburg, turn on to Edison Rd and go 2.4 miles.  The

dirt parking lot will be on you left.

 

From Glen Rd in Sparta, turn on to Edison Rd and go 1.7 miles. 

The dirt parking lot will be on your right.

I might join you. But the thought of being in the woods without the end purpose being a dead animal is so foreign. And I feel naked without a weapon. And being around strangers....just the thought of it is bringing on an anxiety attack. I probably shouldn't.

Sadly, I will be in Turks & Caicos Islands, catching bonefish, snorkeling, and relaxing.  I may consider cancelling for this hike though?
