For Sale -Adaptive Tactical stock and forend for Mossberg 500 with Custom Mossy Oak Bottomland hydrographics ($200 OBO). Brand new, used only 1 week turkey hunting last year before I had it refinished with the hydrodip. Dead flat clear coat for zero reflection. All original parts and installation manual included, see pictures. I love this stock but decided to switch to Mossberg FLEX instead to swap back and forth to regular stock more easily. I like the fit and feel of this pistol grip better than the FLEX, and the butt pad is very absorbent for heavy turkey or coyote loads. So, i got a Winchester SXP Black Shadow Deer gun a couple weeks ago. Due to Murphy's new laws for private transfers, i had to meet the guy at a dealer. FBI delayed me! But the next day, after hours upon hours of anxiety, i was cleared. I go in to puck it up today. This is my first ever slug gun, in excited to start testing different brands of ammo and see how this thing shoots. If anyone on here had or has a Winchester sxp, i would love to hear from you. My plan is to get a barrel for turkey season sand switch out barrels as needed. Hopefully this 12 guage is the only one I'll need for a while.

I have been looking to get my wife a gun for casually shooting clays several times a year and over the weekend we visited a few stores and she shouldered a bunch of guns. The one that she felt fit her the best was the Maverick 88 youth (in 20 gauge), which from research is basically a Mossberg 500 (which she thought was less comfortable) with a few minor changes. Does anyone have any experience with one, everything I have read seems to point towards it being a good solid gun? And after purchasing it, is there anything specific I should get/do to the gun to make it more enjoyable for her, besides a good cleaning? Thanks for any input.
