  1. Again no to belabor the point the front fields are good for chuckars, some short drags... Other drags need to be 500 feet or more through the woods etc...can't do that upfront in many areas. Our club has run into this particular club when we have the permit and yes we may let them know that we have the permit and we would kindly ask them to be cognizant of were we are and not crowd us. Most listened some do not.... Also needing more space as to not leave too much scent as it will confuse a new dog too much. When we train on the front fields we usually use about 250 sq ft or more per dog and
  2. I belong to a different club and we also have to purchase a permit to be able to use live fire on birds or ducks for training and or trials. We will usually use the whole area depending on our needs. However we never use the dog training area and have never told others that they could not use it while we were there. Field trials takes months to plan and organize and costs the handlers $100 or more which goes to pay for the game needed. Any club running a trial would have more then enough game to complete the trial and would not be supplementing with state stocked birds. The judges want to k

  4. I tried pulling my son in the jet sled he's about 100lbs or so... Could barely move him on the grass in the back yard. To much contact with the ground. Haven't tried it in the woods probably would be easier with going over branches etc. I also have harness backpack style with a drag rope that has worked the best especially if going uphill. Your hands are free to grab limbs and help allows you to get as low as needed. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  6. After a phone call they will not ship to NJ, CT, NY, MD, CA, MA...and 1 or 2 others. Saying it's a state issue and it's policy...however if I buy it in peices they will gladly ship. Thinking about shipping to heratige guild in Easton and having it transferred to one of thier NJ stores...after they make it compliant. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. So yesterday I ordered a Ruger AR from Grab a Gun shipping to my FFL which would make it NJ compliant. Received confirmation and shipping info. A few hours later I received a cancellation of my order. When I inquired about to why it was cancelled I received the below response! Wtf! Thomas H. (GrabAGun.com) Aug 19, 2020, 4:38 PM CDT Hey, thank you for contacting GrabAGun. I do apologize about any confusion but we are unable to ship any AR platform rifles to the state of New Jersey at this time. Because of this the order was closed and refunded. Please allow 5-7 business days for tha

  13. Well I guess I stand corrected...I do not want the "anti's" or dog walker etc to have a say in the wma's that I hunt... The parking permit is an interesting idea though however I think that too would make them feel like they have rights to how the WMA should be managed. As I am sure most of us in Monmouth and ocean county wma's have had hunts disrupted. I think we need better posting of hunting in progress signs like they do at county parks. Anytime I see someone that does not belong in the WMA I ask them do you realize it's hunting season and there are people out here with bows and s
