Sorry I have not been very responsive lately.  I have been somewhat under the weather.  My doctors have diagnosed me as having an acute case of Post Islamic Stress Trauma with Apologetic Whitehouse Fatigue, PIST-AWF (Pronounced pissed-off).
PIST-AWF is a newly defined disease that has become widespread and highly contagious.  Doctors at the CDC released a statement disclosing PIST-AWF as a new disease.
It has already infected over half of the United States and is anticipated to continue to spread.  The disease itself affects the cells of a person's entire body then goes dormant.  The disease ravages the body and leaves serious side effects including, embarrassment for your country, depression, anxiety as to when it will come to an end and wondering how much more damage he can do and how long it will take to repair the damage once a new person takes over the presidency.
    Symptoms include:
Severe pain of the scalp from pulling your own hair while viewing your president pander to Taliban terrorists.
    *
Uncontrollable heartburn at 8:00 PM during the CNN coverage lies.
    *
Stomach cramps from swallowing the fact we elected Biden/Harris.
    *
Vomiting from viewing terrorists murdering innocent people routinely on the nightly news.
    *
Bleeding from the eyes.  This is not Ebola.  It is your eyes reacting to accidentally flipping to a channel that shows Al Sharpton as a so-called legitimate news show host.
    *
Since the disease consumes the entire body, every infected person is then identified as the disease itself.
If you have these symptoms and consider yourself PIST-AWF, please notify your local election board and place your name on the list for a cure.  It is expected, and sincerely hoped, that the cure will be available in 2022.
    GOD SAVE AMERICA 🇺🇸!

I was a Detective working at the NJ State Police Central Security Office on the 11th. Soon thereafter my Unit was split in two, and I went to work in Philadelphia on the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force for the next 2 years.

I was a sophomore in college my dad worked on the 82nd floor, my friend flipped on the tv and said we were under attack (he didn’t know my dad worked in the building) no cell service as the antennas were on the top of the buildings, was a long day trying to get home driving in silence. went to pick up my brother from RBC and explained what was going on.

My dad walked in the back door around 4pm and said “Don’t cash that insurance check yet” he left the building for an early meeting and was lucky to make it hoped on last train out of the city and split a cab with some others from Middletown…95% of his office were killed.

He just passed last November I have said since I was lucky to get him for another 20 years he should have been gone that day.
10 years later to the day my first daughter was born on 9/11/11… it’s definitely a day and date I’ll never forget.

What still bothers me the most about that day is that a few weeks prior, I kept having dreams about planes hitting buildings and some of my college roommates were being killed but, nothing specific. When September 11th was happening, I was just heading out to go to work when my first customer called me to tell me not to come today. I turned on the tv and saw what was happening and thought to myself that my wife and I had our third child on the way, he was born less than a month later and what kind of world he was going to be born into. It turns out that one of my college roommates was killed in the World Trade Center. He worked for Kanter Fitzgerald and another one of my roommates was stuck in traffic and was able to turn around and go back home in Jersey. I'll never forget and never forgive what happened on that day.

I was in 2nd grade and I can remember that day so vividly, everything about it.
Walking out of school and there was an abnormal amount of parents waiting  outside  of the school. I remember eating dinner and my parents trying to explain what happened, its still a day that is very upsetting to me, I can only imagine what it is like for those who had to visit ground zero, my thoughts are with you.
I now work in 3 world trade, before we started working from home, I would always take off Sept 11th -going into the office and sitting right there looking out my window at the monument didn't sit right with me, just felt off.
This Saturday, I will be sitting in my tree reflecting on how each day is a blessing

I was the OIC in the FT Dix Emergency Operations Center when it happened, we went on immediate lock down, Pentagon was hit and it was chaos for a short time before the country locked down the airspace. Afterward we coordinated military support to NYC and local EMS personnel going to the site. It certainly is a day to remember, 184 People died in the Pentagon Attack along with 2, 996 in NYC and  44 on United flight 93.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL WHO LOST THEIR LIVES THAT DAY  and lets not forget all those that died later and are still dying from the effects of all that they breathed in that day while working rescue efforts.

I was off duty on that gorgeous weather day. I was still living in Lodi, and just walked into my house with sausage, egg & cheese on a everything bagel and coffee and turn on GMA. Saw what looked to be a fire at the tower.  Within minutes my cell phone rings,  I was on our SPECIAL OPERATIONS GROUP, I was told we might be under attack but not confirmed,  report to your local PD and take orders from them, as I was putting on my gear that's when the 2nd jet hit. Sat around police headquarters till around 3 pm and told to go home, it was crazy no one had a clue. Few days later we got sent to ground zero, it was a horror scene.....almost evil ....God bless all the victims and their families,  God Bless THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 🇺🇸

My son is looking forward to going but I told him if I get home in time I take him out before dark. If not it will have to be after school during the week.

I was homeless living in my car, I was in the ironbound section of Newark woke up to go shower at my sisters when I heard on the radio what was going on. And that they were scrambling fighter planes to take action. 5 years after getting out of the marines I was still having problems adjusting and everyone was a nasty civilian puke in my eyes…… Sad to say but I felt like if I was suffering, let everyone else suffer it was war and it was time that everyone else got a piece of it
20 something years later I’m a father of 3 beautiful girls, my wife and I both surviving cancer , I feel sadness for everyone that lost their lives that horrible day and will be sitting in my treestand reflecting and saying a prayer 🙏 for everyone effected that day

I'm 6 foot, but not 325 pounds (I'm 165). I'm not sure if this would fit a guy that big to be honest.
@Russ 11 never get up north. The farthest "north"  I normally go is Cherry Hill/Marlton/Medford area. Sorry.
Here's the dimensions (I'll put this in the main description, too):
The width of the compartment is about 2 feet -- so to fit comfortably, your girth/width at your stomach/hips should not be much more than 2 feet.
When deployed, it will easily fit a person 6 feet tall (I'm 6 foot, 165 pounds and I am comfortable in this blind). It might fit someone a little taller, but I would say not much taller (I wouldn't get this if you are 6'5" for example).
When collapsed for transport/storage, it is roughly 4.5 feet tall and 3.5 feet wide. You can see what it looks like when carrying it on your back if you watch the YouTube video.

This has been used no more than 5 times in the field (probably not even that, I can’t remember using it that much). It is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and it puts together nicely. This layout blind is roomy and comfortable - prepare to fall asleep if you aren’t careful.  The leg enclosure is framed (but collapsible for storage) - a really nice design that gives your legs and feet room to move and allows air to circulate. It has a clean-out zipper on the end of the leg enclosure to make cleaning it out easy. It has side zipper you use to reach out and flap the flag while sitting in the blind.
The pictures show a goose flag - that is not included, but I show it in the pictures so you can see where you can store your own flag inside the door panel.
There is a mesh pouch attached to the inside. Also included is a removable ammo pouch that closes via a zipper and clip. Can fit several boxes of shotshell ammo or other gear like calls or gloves.

I have a bunch of pictures of it shared on Google Drive - see: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ny_v3zveBHkgcBDgI7ji382Q3maxAnhO?usp=sharing
Below is one of the pics. Here's a Cabela's YouTube video that shows it (or at least a model very close to this one - mine is a later model that has the collapsible frame in the leg enclosure).
I believe I paid something like $275 or $300 for it brand new. Looking to get $150. Not looking for trades.

thefirstndsecond reacted to Bonefreak in Assunpink WMA-State paved roads to Rising Sun and Stone Tavern boat launches…Why??
Had a very pleasant conversation with a fish n game worker who provided some insight to the paving jobs to the ramps. Apparently the money was available from a corporate sales tax fund for improvements at no cost to fish n game. Runoff was a concern to them as well but the existing access roads were so compacted they did not provide filtration anyway. Litterbugs was also a concern but that has been a perpetual problem w people who weren’t brought up right. Also, the dirt access roads required annual maintenance filling in holes w rocks. So, I believe fish n game had our best interest in mind providing good access to ramps and will also be installing concrete ramps and floating docks over the next 5 yrs or sooner.  That being said, if I were in charge I think I could have found other projects to work on and would have left the muddy, pot holed, access roads to the lakes.

Regardless if I was at a bar or restaurant and looked over and saw reserved for the 13 and there was a flag there, it definitely would cause me to pause.

But, at that table of if the restaurant did display a way for donations that would be even better.

We have had a lot happen this year and last year.

We need all the pausing and thinking we can.

I guess anything is possible in this day and age.  People might use dead soldiers to make a buck.   I think a lot of folks on both sides do truly respect the armed forces though.

I believe those that are doing it are doing more than just the 13 beers.  I personally know a bar owner who is doing it regularly donates to veterans and wounded warrior and cut a check for a substantial amount for the families just lost but it is not advertised nor does he want it advertised.  I truly believe there are alot like him and prefer to keep it personal what they do but the 13 beers is a tribute to be seen
