    Jeeps

Just picked up a Grand Cherokee from Rossi in Washington, for work and play...check out the plate they gave me. I had nothing to do with it
  2. Take that log to a mill. Would make some nice boards.
  3. Any reviews on the Chevy Traverse?, I'm looking to lease for 3 years. Just to get back and forth to work...I was initially looking at the Ford Explorer, but the pricing is more than double. Ken Beam (on this site) is a sales rep at Rossi in Washington NJ. He gave me the right numbers.
  4. I'm guessing a local butcher took those donated deer and didn't want to put the time in.

    the moon tonight

    Which telescope did you get?
  6. Van Doren just serviced my furnace yesterday. Why go anywhere else? They're on Rt 22 in Whitehouse.
  7. Modular homes are built 'to be moved' so there is a lot of money spent on transporting and setting the boxes. This takes money away from quality, and also restricts the design.
  8. Remington 3" sluggers 1 oz Make sure you have an adjustable rear sight.
  9. If you go with micro lam beams, there is a chart for the opening size. (It's "pre engineered lumber") The roof (live) load should be 30 pounds per square foot in the middle zone. (New Jersey is middle zone) So you can bump up to 40 lbs psf just for overkill. I think 3.5 x 12.
  10. Did you just put that camera out?
  11. I'd find it hard to part with mine, although I haven't shot it in many years. Maybe I'll take it out and take a few shots...
  12. Exit tax is really a withholding, this way, you need to file a return for 2020. (in the event you owe tax)

    Oil Change

I've had STS (Mavis) try to say the oil was very dirty they recommend a flush for another 59.99, I've had mechanics "forget" to change the filter ( I marked it), I've had 2 quarts over the line, So, that may explain my skepticism. My diesel takes 15-40, that's what I want in there...The van takes 5-20 That's what I want, so, you're right, for the peace of mind I need, I'll change my own. To say they are all crooks is wrong, there are a FEW good , honest mechanics out there. Dealers have good technicians, although they are the real crooks.

    Oil Change

I don't trust any mechanic, let alone Jiffy Lube, They will try to sell you, then use inferior products. Change your own, you'll know what kind of oil and filter. Most places use a pump through the dipstick now,and you're lucky if they change the filter.
  15. Wow, that's a lot of work! Looks great!
  16. Scrape and Drylock also epoxy floor. Any groundwater needs to be redirected from outside through drainage piping.
  17. Don't forget that when you close, you will receive the balance in the escrow within 30 days, also you will skip one payment, that should be almost enough for closing costs. With a 20 year mortgage, your payment may not change much from 4.25 to 3.25, you will just be reducing the length of the mortgage. Also, make sure you get at least 45 days when you lock in, because when it expires, they want you to pay 1 point to re-lock.
