Same for me. I'm in Belford and fishtailed all the way to work today. Be careful out there.
  2. Just started to use it in the last month or so. I didn't have or like the kisser button, but I don't mind this. It really is just another "check" that I'm in the same place every time. Easy to install and cheap too.
  3. I figured as much as well. I'll take the rubbing to keep the feet warm though!
  4. I buy mine a size bigger so I can wiggle the old toes and keep warm. These boots are pretty impressive. My only complaint is that the heel on the inside has frayed after two seasons and can give a small blister. I only wear them on hunts and not for scouting, so not a crazy amount of mile on them. They are warm though.
  5. I use olive oil, salt, and pepper and reverse sear it. Takes longer but it is great! Youtube it. You'll thank me later.
  6. That's great! I have brought my son when he was 8. He enjoyed it and we almost got a doe until he farted and spooked it. Love that story and it's my favorite hunting moment by far!
  7. I killed two nice bucks this year with the slingblade. One with my crossbow and the other with my compound. They fly nice, but I have to say, the blood trail is not that great. Both bucks dropped inside of 60 yards. If they had gone further, not sure I would have been able to find them given the sparse blood. Spitfires on the other hand tear a deer apart.
  8. I agree with Tec nu. I work at Sandy Hook and the place is covered with it. We always have some in the first aid room. Works wonders.
  9. I know you said no apple, but I have one for work and it is the best computer I have ever had. Expensive as hell though!

    Where are you located? Thanks.
  11. I'll take it. I'm in Middletown as well.
  12. Beautiful work! This is why I got married in March
  13. Great story! I took my 8 year old on his first hunt last year. Doe comes in and my son peeks out from the stand and rips the loudest fart I've ever heard from him. Doe snaps her head toward us and runs off. My favorite hunt for sure!
