  1. There’s one on the shelf at Shore Shot in Lakewood. I just looked at it the other day.
  2. Thanks for the tip and the compliment! There’s a BJs close to me. I’ve never been there but I’ll check it out.
  3. I’ve got three shotguns and a rimfire that I’d like to have a cabinet/safe for. I don’t have much room for the cabinet so I’m looking for something with a small footprint. Height is not an issue. I’d prefer to find something for as little as possible. Not opposed to Stack-On type cabinets. Let me know if you have something laying around not being used. Thanks!
  4. Hey Smittty- where in Monmouth County are you?
  5. I’ve officially broken the ice and shot at moving targets for the first time and had a blast. Hopefully I can get some serious practice in and become proficient enough to hunt pheasant one day. Here’s a quick clip- I know I’m not all that good, but I’m still proud.
  6. Awesome. Thanks for the heads up!
  7. Definitely let me know. If you could also send pics that would be great. Thank you.
  8. I’m in Freehold. I had no idea Sears made something like this. Could you send me pics and price?
  9. I’m weighing my options between a new Henry .410 single shot and trying to find a used gun. Doesn’t need to be perfect cosmetically... but I definitely want a wood & steel model, something along the lines of an H&R Topper. Full size. I got an offer for a Topper Jr. but the size isn’t going to work for me. I do have an H&R 12g single shot that’s from ‘82 if I remember correctly that I’d be willing to sell/trade. Thanks!
  10. Thank you all! My kid and I are both home sick today. Looks like I’ve got a lot of reading to do!
  11. Hello all- I was told about this website from njgunforums.com regarding hunting information. I am looking to learn to hunt. My grandfather was an avid hunter and fisherman. My father fished. I always wanted to learn to hunt but never got the chance. The closest I came was having my grandmother hand me her .22 and a box of bullets and telling me to come home with something to cook (which is how she got me out of the house while she watched her soap operas). I’d go out in the woods behind her home and every once in a while manage to dispatch a couple squirrels and occasionally a rabbit. I currently own a 12g single shot and am looking at adding a 20g single shot. I would love to learn how to hunt for turkey, rabbit, squirrel, and pheasant. On one occasion I tagged along on a pheasant hunt (I didn’t get to hunt- just watched) and had an amazing time. im hoping to gain some knowledge here and maybe find out how to get my feet wet in successfully becoming a NJ hunter.
