Post the view from your stand

Here’s both...the easy access close climb in tree and the other is the 1+ mile in the woods got tired of carrying corn to the feeder neglected 20’ ladder. And provided obligatory selfie lol.

    11/18 check in

Not much tonight could here what I assume was a buck circle me a time or two. Last 15 min of shooting time decided I’d try and kind grunt called 2 spikes in nothing shootable. Not bad for a stand that’s been neglected for a little while Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    11/18 check in

Out in 19 for an evening sit. This spot have been neglected for some time, feeders dry, had it close to stand cause I hung my camera on it out of ease. There’s some bedding to the right and 3 game trails move in and around this spot. Lets just hope mr. big takes a stroll. If not just enjoying the evening in the woods. Today is the day

Well like blade said you know he's still out there and I'll never forget when it happened to me. Took a shot 3 years ago late in the season at a doe. I saw the branch that was no thicker than a pencil and thought to myself nah I wont hit hit and and even they arrow should be fine. Hit the branch, arrow went high right, and didn't see another deer all day.

    Winter gloves?

I use the light gloves with the bow release hole in conjunction with a waist hand warmer. Less noise and movement with the hand warmer and if you throw a chemical warmer in there sometime my hands will start sweating. I have tried to customize some heavier winter gloves by cutting a hole for the release but overall wasn't very happy with how they felt. Might work for you though.
  7. I’m all about the red light and atleast 1hr before first light when I go to my morning stands. Red or green light obviously helps you see but also especially with red light it does not affect your own natural night vision. So with either light when you turn them off you will have less pupil adjustment once you turn that light off. Plus doesn’t spook the deer for who knows why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    11/15 Check In - Pre-Snow Storm Hunt

Checking back in late...Started snowing around 0930 and sure was cold. Waited about another 10-15 min still no deer so I called it. I’m sure when I get out to to check the cam a trophy will be there 5 min after I’ve left lol. Still always good to get out in a tree and enjoy the woods.

    Changing my mind about genetics

Well I am definitely going to start focusing more on the nutrition, always attempted to. Due to my smaller plot size I cannot set up any farming but maybe some year round good food out of a feeder can help the deer be healthier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    11/15 Check In - Pre-Snow Storm Hunt

Out in 19. Nothing yet except squirrels and chipmunk that crash through the woods sounding like a 200 lb monster. Little to no wind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    11/14 Check in

They are definitely chasing. Had one doe come in from the east she stopped about 45-50 yds out then took off to the north (away from stand) then saw what looked like a small 6 come behind her Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
