  1. Deer did come back tonight was able to get it done, ML went bang and the doe dropped in her tracks! Thank you to everyone for the advice, suggestions and input. I learned a lot from you guys and moving forward know better to avoid a misfire with the ML in the future. Thank you all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You only use gunzilla to clean ML and you’ve had no problems? Interesting might be worth a try for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve been putting it in soft case once I get back to the truck and leave it in there even when storing indoors... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The breech plug wasn’t clogged as before I had put a new load in I cleaned it and made sure. I have had my ramrod marked to ensure the bullet is seated all the way at bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That’s what I am going to do moving forward. Seems like the best way to prevent from happening again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I think moving forward if I have a load in and don’t discharge it I will store in the garage where the temperature isn’t as warm as inside of the house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That’s what I am going to do moving forward if I have put a load in... better to be safe then sorry, and limit the risk of it happening again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, it’s a break open inline. It was cleaned prior to loading and I waited a couple days to load it as I wasn’t going hunting for a period. I believe the issue was having it loaded for about 2 weeks and going in and out hunting and then storing gun inside, causing condensation.

  10. Primer did fire, believe it was a issue with powder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It was stored with barrel facing up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. First time issue for me... haven’t had a load in for 10 months but still has gone months with no problem once firing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don’t believe it was misseated... always verify the load is properly seated with a mark I have on ramrod. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, and I had shot a deer with it already this season... cleaned it and waited to put another load in cause I wasn’t hunting for couple days after it was cleaned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Beginning of last week... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Triple Seven Pellets with Powerbelt Copper plated Aerotip bullets. I have been this entire week, only went hunting twice last week and the load has been there since beginning of last week... I believe from going outside during hunting and then inside storing at room temp condensation may have cause the powder to become duds? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. So this whole week have had no deer come in, except tonight I had 5 deer come in (Does/Fawns). Waited till I had a good shot on one of the Does, and was relieved to finally get the opportunity to take one out. Put the crosshairs on the spot and then I had a misfire... deer all ran off... was so upset and aggravated. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow will have better luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Just got a new Chevy Colorado... want to put a cover on but still deciding what type I would like to get. Anyone have suggestion, am open to all different options. Let me know what you have and the pros/cons of each. Thanks
  19. I have one of the wild games innovation one that you linked to Dicks Sporting Goods.... been using it for 2 years now and haven’t had a single problem... for that price and a mail in rebate if I was you I would buy multiple...
  20. Out in Z2, sitting for a couple hours and then gonna start drives with some buddies... Good luck everyone!!
  21. Out here in Zone 2, a beautiful morning.
  22. You did the right thing. If you felt hesitant, it’s better to hold off until you feel you have a clean shot and opportunity to take. Way to do the right thing. Its way better to get a clean shot and clean kill, than force a shot and then realize you might have only wounded the animal and you feel instant regret. Good luck with the rest of the season!
