PSA Zone 7 Public Land Hunters

This is exactly how things should happen. Idk where people get this liberal mentality that if you use public land you should expect your shit to be stolen. That is NOT ok and NOT how things work. The *land* is what’s shared, not my equipment I worked hard and paid for (or anyone else’s & sorry for the other guys who have had things stolen also). It also wouldn’t surprise me if the thief (or other thieves) are on here, & If he’s reading this, guess what, I ordered a climber that will be here tomorrow and I’m still going to hunt that spot!!!! Unfortunately I have to disagree with you. I’ve spoken to lots of guys who have had other hunters steal their stuff. No anti would want to walk through all the stickers, muck, and thickness I was at just to steal one or two bottom steps. My stand, lifeline, bow hanger & bow Line were all there in tact. This was someone’s EXTREMELY rude & wrong way of sending a “do not hunt here” message. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. PSA: There is *NEVER* any reason to touch, let alone STEAL someone’s else’s equipment!!!!!! I hope karma & Mother Nature really come back and bite the asshole who stole my steps in the ass!!!!!!! Backstory: I walked into my stand this afternoon that my husband just moved a few days ago, to find my bottom steps missing so I couldn’t get up there. Took a walk around and found another stand about 70 yards away & I’m assuming it was him who did it bc he didn’t like we were that close. Mind you, it is SO thick and heavily wooded, he had no idea there was anyone in the area because you can’t see the stand. And even more so, the stand we found close to us was recently moved as well because we saw that stand earlier in the season in a different spot not too far away when we were scouting. We actually try to talk to everyone we see in the parking lot to find out where they are so we DONT hunt their area. We are extremely courteous & that trait seems to be a thing of the past. It would’ve been nice if the person left a note at the stand or by the car saying “hey, you put this stand in close proximity to mine, would you mind moving it?” Or leaving a phone number so we could talk about it and move our stuff accordingly. But no, this asshole had to steal our shit. Our hard earned money, the hours and hours of scouting and walking and hunting we’ve put in. My husband got hurt at work last week and with stitches in his leg moved that stand for me so I would have better luck trying to shoot my first deer. If the person who did this is on the forum, I just want to give you a huge F*** YOU!!!! The end.

    Turn those clocks back..

I wish I would’ve seen this earlier. Daylight saving ruined my morning. I went to bed real early last night so I could get up, weather app told me sunrise was 730. Needless to say I spooked deer on my way in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Best shotgun scope?

@bhc I was looking at the Bushnell trophy and have it on my list. I’ve seen reviews that the nikons are good & my local hunting shop is a leupold dealer. SO many choices!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
