  2. I have a bear Approach R/H 55-70 Adj draw. With quiver, stabilizer, Covert single pin moveable sight, Rip cord rest, peep and a release, case and arrows I am looking to give to someone who needs a bow. 2 years old. New custom strings after a year. I want someone who really needs it. Great shooting bow. Can’t use it and want someone to enjoy it. PM me. Let your conscience be your guide.

    Deer bedding in grass

Some deer at our farm. It's cool to watch the deer just disappear in the grass as he beds down. The bugs are bothering him so you can see him flick his ears a bit, but otherwise he's basically invisible. He's probably 10 feet from the camera..maybe less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vm8nXsMmJ8

  4. I believe the video showed that studies indicate catch n release fishermen have relatively the same affect on mortality than tournament guys based of the effort quotient....for every 1 bass tournament guy there are 4 catch n release guys. I agree we all need to practice better fish care .... I think social media has had adverse affects on mortality....you should see guys laying bass on grass, dirt, pavement etc n taking selfie’s w fish covered in dirt just to show they are “Bassmasters” is very disturbing

  6. Education on the proper way to handle any fish that you are going to release should be more available, expectually to new fisherman. Warm water, fish caught in deep water, hook removal, lifting fish by the jaw, placing fish on the ground for pictures how long to fight a fish. Education is the key!

  7. Wow! Very interesting! I tournament bass fish for a central jersey club since 1997 this video was very informative interesting stats how tournament fishermen vs catch release fishermen affect relatively same mortality due to the effort quotient-for every 1 tournament fishermen there are 4 catch and release fishermen. also interesting to see that Pro formats like MLF that release bass immediately but strategize to catch high #s in one day on the water can have more adverse affects than a weigh in format like BASS who can tend to strategize by “saving fish for the

  8. Well, that might be for tournaments but but certainly is not with me, I have always been a catch and release immediately fisherman, I have had my share of deep hooked fish and have always did my best to even release them carefully with as little distress as possible. I guess the 65% could be possible for the tournament hungry guys who rough the fish in spend untold time taking their pictures and weighing them in later. To them boys I say shame on you if you are not doing your best to minimize the mortality. I know many who fish and release responsibly and to the guys who do not care abo

    Slow day fishing

Hit the bay this morning with ole lady from 8-12 hoping to get her on the stripers. We just Couldn’t get on them. Saw more bunker then I ever have but couldn’t find the bass. Ended up with 5 blues and a great lunch at Bahrs. Back down in Hunterdon by 430 for domestic responsibilities.

I would rather catch bluefish over stripers any day. Especially on top water and light tackle. Or the fly rod which my son uses.

Aw come on I have been starring at the picture since yesterday and I am not convinced either way, while the right side end looks like it may be a bulb everything left of it appears to pointed, the picture just is not clear. I am going to ask my son to put another camera in that corner as see if we can get more pictures of him I will post all the pics of him over the next few months. We will see. Hopefully I will post a picture of him later in the year at the feet of one of my grandsons !!

Funniest thing I ever saw on water . guy pulls up to Lambertville boat ramp and asks a drunk how to get to new hope . guy says to him right over that bridge . driver of the car says can’t he just drive down the ramp, and come out on the PA side ramp . Drunk laughs and the guy drives right into the river , and comes out in new hope. drunk running up to all his buddy’s screaming their a guy driving in the river . was one of these cars , as shown in pic

  20. I used to love that store, they had everything including a large selection of guns and fishing equipment, They were a small chain in NJ that was bought out by Lionel Corp and became Lionel Morsan and when Lionel went under so did the Morsan stores. I got my 1st Compound bow there, It was an Indian Archery Stalker 55lb bow with 50% let off. Here is the 1st Deer I ever took with a bow. and it was a great story. I was in a BAKER climber (you know the baker death trap) and had to take a dump so bad I had to climb down, I walked to the edge of the woods and took a crap and had the bow next to

    North Branch Raritan

To add to the smallies outside of nj. Wheaton’s lodge in forest city Maine. About 10.5 hrs from union county. I used to go every year until the past 3 with a wedding and 2 kids now. It was a blast. Didn’t see another soul most days fishing in a town with under 10 year round residents. Top notch food and boat rentals. Literally you could pull out 100+ fish a day in June. I never went a day without catching at least a dozen. And like others mentioned. Smallies out of state will ruin nj fishing lol.

  41. They've changed the playbook. You are correct, a company with a good backup system in place will be able to bounce back from something like this. The new thing they are doing is copying the data and threatening to post it all online. Things like healthcare and personnel files are not good to get out into the wild. But there are other ways to combat this too. The "old" way of using computers is to save a whole bunch of files to a folder/directory on your computer. This was fine way back when, but it is no longer safe to do that today. The safest way is to upload and maintain data

  43. You seem to be a “smallie fanatic” as am I!😂 have you ever traveled out of state to chase smallies? Recently went on our annual Lake Champlain area trip for big smallies, wasn’t disappointed as usual. Fishin was a bit off with the cold front that came through, but we did well. Three of us caught over 150 smallies in four days, that doesn’t include the additional 100 largemouths. Three smallies were over 5# (on Champlain) majority in the 3-4# class. Id be happy to provide more info if you are interested.

  46. I blew it up as much as I could and it don't look like velvet but if you look at it while the far right side looks like it could be, what throws me off is inside horns appear pointed and it to early for them to be pointed. I am still not sure its not a holdover. Time will tell. If he is in velvet he is the one I will probably be chasing this year.
