We spent the last week in Kentucky for the National Skills USA competition. Logan represented NJ in welding sculpture for his wild turkey piece. Well I’m proud to say against 43 other states he brought home the gold medal and 1st place!! What an awesome experience!!

Took my uncle back out again today. We boated 9 more keepers today (keeping our limit 6). Was a tough day. No wind,no drift and got HOT. Average was definitely smaller today. Nothing big . Had boated a limit by 9am again but was hoping for some bigger fish. Left by 1pm

In this heat my main meal for the day was garden salad with Canada Goose and wild Turkey. After marinating, I cooked it on G.Foreman grill,(I love that thing for quick meals), and it was great. The goose was much juicier and tender. I will be goose hunting hard next season:-)

Took my Uncle out this morning for some fluking. Caught a limit by 9am. Well I didn't want to be done so soon so when I caught the 4th keeper a 20 incher i looked at it and threw it back . 2 minutes later Uncle Neil gets one just about 19 inch. I threw that one over. Then we went a hour with out a keeper. Thought I screwed up. I moved a little and we caught a couple more keepers. We ended up catching 9 keepers. Had a about 40 shorts for the few hours we fished. Also caught a fare amount of searobins, dogfishand one skate. Good day cause we were off the water by 11 am. Beat the heat. Keepers were 20"-23". Solid limit

Me and my cooler of water will be there also. Was there this morning at 6 running my GSP and it was really nice... cool & no humidity! NAVHDA folks are there running training sessions so you may see a bunch of trucks, people and dogs on your way to the range.

It all makes sense when you realise most all leftist inspired anti gun rights laws are not for a second about protecting the public. Most all leftist anti gun rights laws are about leaving you open to the criminal element thus making you more dependant on the authorities and down the road disarming their political opposition it has been the tactic of leftists since before Stallen or Hitler or Mao and Pol Pot just listen to the violent rhetoric RIGHT NOW from Maxine Waters and Michel Moore. Oh and don't play along with their stinking word games they are STANDARD CAPACITY MAGAZINES.

So I've seen a lot circulating around about Nappen saying the NJSP has verified it is immediately illegal to transport magazines over 10 rounds, yet we have 180 day grace period to destroy, permanently modify, sell to a legal owner, or hand in our magazines directly to the police for any magazines greater than 10 rounds per the newly signed laws. Aside from this law being absurd and doing absolutely nothing to make anyone safer...it does beg the question...how does one sell to a legal buyer or even hand in a magazine to the police if they cannot be transport legally? How would one drive them to the post office or the police station or a buyer in say PA? For some reading that will make you sad/angry/disgusted/annoyed/etc...review Nappen's page on large capacity magazines. http://www.evannappen.com/book-update---large-capacity-magazines.html And to make you really want to hurl, take his quiz that highlights how ridiculous this state is: http://www.evannappen.com/uploads/1/0/8/0/1080251/nappensgunlawquizfinal1.pdf My favorite part in the first link, highlighting how insanely stupid the laws are here, was how Nappen apparently defended a client who owned a drum magazine for a machine gun Sad to see NJ continually snowball into gun regulation hell.

We got checked by the State Marine Police too. I was good with all safety equipment and paper work. As we were Bs-ing with him we caught 3 or 4 fluke. Including the one my uncle is throwing back before I got the picture, nice 21" incher. My uncle is 75 and wasn't waiting to long for a picture...lol

Tough! I love my daylillies. I drink my tea in the morning waiting for them to bloom while I'm petting my cat.
