Stevo Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I walked out to my gunshop yeaterday to tumble some brass. As I get there I see about 30 Turkey in the field behind my chicken coop. This is an every year occurance. The week before the opener I will have 20 under my birdfeeder in the front yard. Then opening day they are gone ...... Rusty Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I was practicing calling this morning, had 4 gobblers come in to me within 50 yards. Just be careful with your calling. Birds that are called in before the season are less likely to come in when the season opens. .
