I am pretty sure the Barrel on my H&R 17/223 is going south. Have already decided to have it re barreled in 20 practical. One because I don't own a 20 caliber. Two Because those tiny little 17 bullets are giving me hell at the reload bench. Three because it is so easy to make. In my 17/223  Die set there is a forming die that takes it from 223 to 204 then you full length to 17. Leave out the full length an I am there. 223 brass is plentiful. Going with a Pac Nor Barrel. 20 practical is just a 223 round necked down to 20 caliber. You can do this with an AR by simply changing the Barrel. Bolt and Mags work the same.
