Got a letter in today's mail letting me know I've been chosen to do a survey on recreational saltwater fishing. Was wondering if anyone else got one.

It's a highly effective way to gather recreational angler data. NOAA can send a biologist out on a commercial boat to gather data on things like bycatch and total catches, but with literally millions of saltwater anglers now in their data base, they can reach out to registered (states like NJ) or licensed (states like Florida) saltwater anglers to find out more about those catches.
