Banned trying to register

I've been reading the other site for years and I finally decided to sign up and post. I submitted my registration and I got an immediate message that said I was banned for not following forum rules!? It's ponderous. So here I am and I'm hoping there is far less bickering and negativity. I also wanted to thank those who made this site possible.

I guess they are getting ahead of themselves with the banning and just banning people who register just to get it out of the way, since it would probably happen anyway.
