Wolf spider?

Almost thought for a second it was Pisaurina Mira - aka Nursery Web, but it definitely is one of the may color variations of the wolf spider which unfortunately is much more aggressive, dangerous and can leave a nasty painful and semi-toxic bite, although not as deadly as brown recluse.

Down in the keys, a buddy of mine got bit on his armpit by a brown recluse. When he stood tall/still, it looked like his one arm was "normal" and the other side looked like he was doing a "tough guy" pose. It was between the size of a baseball and softball filled with puss....nasty!

I know exactly what kind of spider that is!!!  It's the kind of spider that makes my girlfriend turn around so quickly to run that she'll deliver an MMA caliber elbow to my face if I stand too close to her.  I now wear kevlar and a football helmet around my house both indoors and outdoors when she's around

Look at this variation of what I thought was a wolf. It was in my wood pile a few years ago. Big one. But was it really a wolf?  What say the audience???

This was a definite pisaurina Mira aka Nursery Web spider I found in my life jacket. Yes it ruined a pair of my underwear!  Quite harmless, upon further research...

Probably some type of funnel web grass spider.  Its abdomen looks too pointed to be a wolf spider, they are typically more rounded in the rear end.

That could be - the problem is if you google image wolf, or funnel web grass, or Nursery Web, you can almost make a case for each being the OP's spider.     I am fairly certain my two are wolf and nursery web...
