I was reading a nj.com article on the bear hunt... look at Susan K's comment after the article (she posted a picture)

I wondered where she got the picture, so I used Chrome's "Search Google for Image" feature, and found only one place where that picture can be found:

That's right - Susan is trolling newjerseyhunter.com - considering all the publicity on njh.com for this site, she is surely trolling this site too.

For what its worth, all these bear posts are making me jealous! I need to consider doing a bear hunt one year.

P.S. Hello, Susan! :happywave:

They been doing it for years, and we do the same to them!

Fact is Bears need to be hunted, they're causing a nuisance and seriously affecting the eco-system.

We are performing a public service, and No bear hunting didn't get crueler Susan, it got more humane and efficient.

see how many bears are harvested this week perhaps a new record why???? Because archery tackle is very very efficient!

Good luck and be safe

I hope Susan sees this post because I am here to hunt bears, and I vote.  I am also a business owner in NJ and will use the business's influence to further my hunting agenda.  I am also raising a family that hunts, so ensure there are more hunters in the world.  And I also teach at a university and am ensuring that the leaders of tomorrow have an excellent understanding of the positive and necessary effects hunting has on a healthy ecosystem.

So, Susan, read this.  Go post a YouTube fantasy video about it.  I am actively promoting a positive image of hunting in all aspects of my life with everyone who I deal with.  I will not be stopped. I cannot be stopped.  Grow up and learn "tolerance" or deal with the adverse backlash against your ignorance.

Sapere aude.

Audeamus.

When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.

Yea, can't worry too much about it.  But, I hope hunters keep this in mind when coming across bad behavior.  If you stumble across an un-recovered fawn with an arrow in its head in the woods, feel free to post on here blasting the idiot who took the shot...but DON'T POST THE PIC.

N.J. bear hunt protesters call bow, arrow season 'cruelest thing possible'

Certainly of all things in this world, hands down...the cruelest thing possible.   :shakehead:

Even just isolated to bear deaths...I can think of dozens of ways that are far, far more cruel than the few seconds it takes to kill a bear with a broadhead tipped arrow.

Give us a break and go get a real job instead of wasting everyone's time picketing against one of the most humane methods for managing ecosystems since the beginning of time.

The OP can file a complaint of copyright violation with NJ.com and they'll pull her posts.

I just posted that recommendation to the OP over there, at least so he is aware.

The DEP has set a maximum number for the bear hunt based on the total number of bears tagged by state wildlife officials in the current year. In 2016, 197 bears have been tagged so far by DEP. In the first day, 16 tagged bears were killed by hunters. If the number of bears harvested reaches 30 percent of bears tagged in 2016, about 59 bears, the hunt would end early.

If you want to keep on hunting for the full season, try to pass on the tagged bears if their young.

Everyone who scores some meat should send her some fur from your catch. This way she can at least take solace in the fact that she can respectfully retire some of the animal in her preferred burial ritual. You know, kind of an olive branch type offering. Just don't include a return address, I fully suspect she's mentally unhinged.
