Took the dog out today

So, since I overslept and missed out on the first bow season for bear, as I only had the am to hunt, I decided to take the dog out for a tune up run at Whittingham, as I pulled into the lot, there was two guys with bears they shot within minutes of each other, not huge ones, a pair of 2 year olds.

 

Anyway, the dog did great! Pointing 2 pheasant and a bonus covey of quail, which I'm betting someone put out recently, all in about an hour or two. Dogs happy and tired!
