A guy that was also planning to hunt back here took a header out of his tree stand, so there's one less bait pile back there now.

Thx. I know Eric. I went there after he was injured. There are a tremendous amount of bears in the area. I would go as far as saying, maybe the highest concentration in the state. Not fact based, just opinion

You're probably right, we had 8 bears in our yard at one time this summer.

 

I have no interest in hunting them myself but i am really looking forward to seeing how everyone does next week.

I only had an interest in hunting them with a bow. Matter of fact, years past I put buddies in stands for bear with gun. I passed on many with the gun. I killed a 309 lb bow bear in maine and enjoyed it. Also like the looks of a rug on the wall. I have never mounted a deer, but shot many worthy.
