Didn't get my tag yet (probably will invest the $2 today at Simon Peter for BMZ 2), now that I realize I am off Monday.  Haven't been really baiting for bears, but this guy reappeared. He is random, but in the area because I know others see him. I am just going to get in one of my perm tree stands in a natural oak funnel, no bait where I often encounter bears on their normal feeding pattern as well as a good pass-through for those getting pushed out by all the other bear hunters. I  also hope for seeing a shooter buck.

I am guessing #350?  Seems to be of the male persuasion..

No, I don't think he's over 400 lbs, my guess would be 300-350, but once they hit the ground, they become a blob of jelly.  My guess is the 400+ lb I am after is gonna need 6 people.

I find the younger, but fatter bears to be the toughest to judge, personally.  Yours falls into that category.  Definitely not over 400lbs, but at least 350 IMO.  He's fat, but not long or tall as in not old.  We have 2 similar bears with one being maybe 50 lbs heavier than the other.  Our "biggest bear" is possibly our 2nd most heavy.  He's a big, old boar that isn't overly fat.  That said, he's still all of 475 lbs.  We have a younger boar that I think is around 550 lbs, but he isn't near the bear in size (length and height) of the older boar.  Bears are tough to judge!

I have an all-terrain U-trax trailer to tow behind the quad. It can cart over 1,500lbs of firewood. All I gotta do is squeeze it in that...

well since I put 0% effort into this bear season, if I do shoot one it will be luck not based on dedication. I always said I would rather be lucky than good :)  Oh - better go get my tag

Holy cow Sugar that is one wide load!     It seems you can attach videos on here, but you need to download and play on your pc movie player.   Otherwise a link to a video like youtube or facebook works instantly.
