I've tried home-made popcorn sprinkled with Cherry Burst, yet the bear I have coming in won't eat the popcorn.  He also won't eat the bird seed/sweet feed/dog food mix and he also doesn't like cooked meat.  He's a donut only kinda bear, lol

Best of luck to you next week !!!

I finally borrowed one of my landowner's quads yesterday so Troutandbucks and I could quickly get about 400 lbs of corn, apples, Jello powder, and chocolate in the woods to our bat barrel.  Otherwise, it's 50lbs at a time for me which is a lot of back and forth hikes from our vehicles.  We'll have to load up one more time over the weekend, but should be holding bears straight through next week if we keep up our 2x/week trips.  Yesterday we spread some of the chocolate around into hollowed out logs and in trees or under a blowdown tree root wad to keep them around longer and not just focused on heavy eating from our barrel.
