Major NJ Transit Train crash - Hoboken Terminal

Just happened this morning.  Mass casualties. Apparently train crashed into building at full force.   NJ Transit and PATH service to/from Hoboken is now suspended. Scary - I took PATH from Harrison to Exchange Place today - not sure if that will be impacted for ride home.  I had been driving all summer to Jersey City and starting this week,  that last 10 miles to drive and park started taking 90 minutes, so I had no choice but to start taking PATH.

It's a mess.  It's the Pascack Valley Line that crashed, runs right through Bergen County.  No reports of anyone losing their life, but a lot of people got pretty banged up.  Prayers are with them.

There is at least one confirmed death so far and over 100 injured

So sad to see this happen. I spent alot of time in that train station.

This is what happens with one person in cab. They eliminated the fireman years ago because they felt there was no need for them. True they were not needed to shovel coal anymore, but they served as  backup in a emergency.
