Finally a good one showed up. Have been only 2 sows and cubs and a few smaller boars. But looks like this round jelly belly made it to my bait. See if he hangs around for the next 2 weeks

It's a repelling possum. The navy has been doing an experiment again. lol

Good luck with him!  This October season is going to be a real game changer when it comes to bear hunting and controlling their ever-expanding numbers.  We have bears on our baits 24/7 right now, so not just the nocturnal thing as often happens to us each December during 6 Day when the leaves are off the trees and our forest (Sparta) is wide open with few hiding places.

13 pointer is spot on, every year I think I have them then they disappear! early season will control the numbers. I have had up to 5 bears a day on the bait!

bow season also opens spots that we could not hunt before.
