Just checked the regs and saw that rabbit and squirrel seasons are open!! So for me, it's deer this afternoon and bunnies and tree rats tomorrow morning!!! Fun fun!!!

Hunt with a Vizsla, cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog! :D RIP Tilly monster. (Attila) 2004-2017.

also i am so happy NJ allowed pellet rifles couple years back. now only if we can get them to allow .22 shorts for squirrel hunting  we can do it with raccoon at night, so why not for squirrel during the day? they can make designated zones just like the muzzleloading squirrel zones

Sunday?

Yep. Today I was hoping to get the bastard that has been eating my garden. But, the Eagles were playing so well I never went outside.

Tuesday will be the first day this year that I go to get a wild one that I don't have a vendetta against.

Ok, so.. I've never been big into tree rat or rabbit, but will give it a go this year, is a .410 with 6 shot to messy for the little fellas?

just aim for the tip of their nose, a miss is better then eating led, rabbits they will die if you look at them wrong, i cleaned many of bunnies i couldnt find a pellet hole except the tip of its ear.

Haha, ok . I'll make sure not to fill them with lead.  squirrels I see plenty of, I'll have to look for a good rabbit spot, aside from my yard, we have tons of them here of course.

I use a 20ga with 7.5's, doesn't mess them up at all!! And yeah, head shots on squirrels is the way to go, bunnies to, if you can get the to sit, headed out now!

Would be even better if we could use a 22 revolver
