Went up this morning dragged in well over 100 lbs. of bread, donuts, corn and raisin muffins....last week's bait was gone, but on cam I got the same 125 lb.bear who is coming in all day long, and the sow with 3 cubs, the other bears never came in, maybe they are just roaming around, also 7 coytotes. Normally the bears are hitting my bait on the same day I put it out, this past week they didn't show up until 1.5 days after putting bait out. Still 2 weeks till the season !!!!

Anyone else notice a slow slow down on their baits?

Man with the biggest pile wins. Lol. This past week was the most action i had so who knows. Keep baiting and they will come. Tou said you have 7 coyotes on camera, at one time or 7 pictures of coyotes?

Sounds like new bait piles might be in the area.

Yup, as we get closer to the season more and more people are gonna start dumping bait.

Including myself today. Finally found some time to start. I started in that area you told me about.

So far so good but I bait everyday. Still 2 weeks out so anything can change for better or worse. But like some people I know say,it does not matter if I arow one but they hope many hunters do since that is the goal. So best of luck to all who are going out after the bruins.

We got crushed this week. They ate over 400 lbs from our barrel in about 6 days. Roughly 7 or 8 different bears. With the exception of a sow with 2 cubs that mostly come in at night, most are daytime. I ran off a 350 pounder today from a second site that is a deer stand. He was on our minerals. And he didn't leave quickly. I had to convince him to move on.

Some of our various bears including one with "ear jewelry"

Our 2 big boars are not hitting this barrel, but rather 2 other baits on other sections of the property.  Mike accidentally erased one set of photos and he will be collecting more this weekend.  And I just added a camera to the new spot I saw a big one today that I had to ask to leave politely.  He wasn't impressed with my request however  :)

They have been hitting mine consistently since I put it out. I have NINE different ones coming in, Patch 2.0 and her cubs, another sow with hers and the two big ones, sometimes they come in together, sometimes individually.

I been using corn mixed with molasses I got from work in 5gal. buckets as well as an open top 30gal. drum that just has corn in it.
