9/23 morning live hunt.

This is my big field and hedgerow spot. It's a 45 minute oif daylight spot only. Got in 5:45. Will sit until about 7:30. 51 degrees. Hope the first shooter buck of the season shows today because I sure don't have a picture of any.

No sign of life. Odd for this spot. Must have been some coyotes on the prowl last night.

Just saw a doe and two fawns run across the big open field. 200 yards. Doubt they coming this way.

Actually 2 good size doe and one smaller. They tried to cross a road - a car scared them back. Now they coming my way - 50 yards but still eying up that road

I see a new buck moved in - just 47 minutes before I walked in - no other pics of this guy.

and some of the regulars were on cam just a minute before I was on the cam this morning - reminder to not hunt this stand anymore in the morning, until rut....

I'm going to check my cameras tomorrow. End of September and cooler nights should get bucks moving.

what I missed closer to home where I probably should have hunted - just checked a cam.  Some newer bucks showing, still nothing mature enough but it's encouraging.

would love to see what that wide 8 in first pic and that long brow tine buck look like next year - hope they make it.

Well I have to tell you I have done what you did. you blew those deer out of there. I actually almost exclusively hunt afternoons for the last 3 years just because of this problem. I had deer on camera at 4am. I either sleep in the tree or try afternoons. Maybe you could get in at 2 am or so (no joking serious if it would work) . Looks like you have a couple nice spots enjoy the show! great pictures gets the blood pumping while I wait for my zone to open.
