How is your bear activity

So how is your bear activity looking as we approach the opener for black bears? Some spots are active others are somewhat active for me so far. Also, who has been baiting for a while and who just plans to put a bunch a bait down a couple days before the season?Just bear talk for those who like bear hunting.

I will set some bait sites this coming weekend.  I have decided to use no camera's this year, for any type of hunting, but I will hunt areas where they have historically been a PIA.  A buddy of mine who hunts the same farm and who has been hunting EAB has seen multiple bears.  I'll check the bait sites the following week and make a game time decision was to where to continue to bait and then as to where I ultimately hunt based on what I see then.  Maybe not an optimum plan for the cross-bow but better for the muzzleloader.

Very active this week. More than the past 2 weeks. Nothing big yet. How about a few pictures of the bear you have coming?

Very active for the past month, I have over the month 6 different bears coming in

I have one that the best comes in when we bait then gone till we bait again.so I will pick up the number of the time s I bait as we get closer and bait heavy the day before. My other spot I am going to start this week. It only took me a week last December to get him in .

I'll put a little bait 2 weeks before and then 1 week before, and then the day before,

 

Nothing crazy.

They pass through without bait so I think they will find it fast

 If there was a bigger one of these Id put it! Everything under the sun eats my bait and the 3 bears I had on cam are all passing through about 40yds from where bait was. No pattern at all! Rebaited in a diffrent spot with a barrel so well see how that turns out.
