What's that funky arrow in the Recent Posts?

Well some of you may ask, what the heck is that funky arrow in the Recent Posts section? Personally, I liked the ability to go right to the latest post in a given thread, so now that arrow symbolizes that. Very simple addition, but useful for those of us that prefer being able to do that!

 

So that covers all the bases:

- Default behavior of clicking the subject of the post taking us to the top of last page in the thread

- Paginated links to click to take us to the top of each page

- Funky arrow icon to take a user immediately to his/her last unread post in a given thread. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how this implementation works on the forum. It may be cached/cookied on a given device, so if you go between your phone and a computer, it may not remember your last post. I just tested it out and have a feeling it's on a per device basis, but we'll try it out and see how it goes.

It says, first unread post.

 

I like that better, I click on last post and look for the newest post myself.

I actually just fixed it...it was going to the last post...now I made it so it goes to the last unread post for a given user!
