How did you get them to pose in that last photo?

Easy......I got a cheesehead hat from a packers fan and said "SAY CHEESE", then this white boy ran !!!

Nice pic. My advice is to not waste your time with a nocturnal bear. If you get pics of a bear ONLY at night, don't waste your time on him. No reason he will show during shooting hours. Focus on your biggest bear during daylight

nmc, I have to agree with you.....the biggest one you see in this set of pictures is coming in just after 6pm, last week showed the same....anything can happen by the time the season comes around. I wouldn't mind taking the sow as she is coming in just at daylight she is of good size, but those cubs may stop me, they need her for one more year, maybe I'm wrong on that. Also have what looks li km e 125 lb bear he is coming in daily in the afternoo , I will not take him

I my opinion I would not shoot the sow because if those babies are to young and do not survive 3 less bears to hunt in the future.  I know the state of NJ could careless but I believe we must manage our own hunting.  Kill all the bears today then none for tomorrow.   The state of NJ has no clue about how to  manage its wildlife.

Bears are different, they don't change their patterns. No rut in October. They will still come, even if they smell you...they rather eat. However, they establish the pattern, unless you have food only available during daylight
