It's data from the White House.  It's totally bogus.  It's intentionally skewed, far from independent, and is coming from a corrupt and dishonest administration.

And the source you're getting it from, the Clinton News Network, is completely biased.  Just read the tone of the article.  They need something positive to distract from Hillary's Parkinson's episodes.  If Trump doesn't put his foot in his mouth over the next few weeks, the Clinton/Parkinson's story will never leave the media.

Funny the White House didn't talk about this:  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/09/13/another-obamacare-co-op-folds-leaving-only-6-remaining.html

In NJ nonetheless.

No surprise.  Liberals and Democrats have no idea how economics really works.  They think they can change market forces by sheer will.  Ha!  Posers!

My left leaning FB friends will not be happy after I posted this...

Hey lefties, while you're toting Obama's glorious household income increase being the largest in history...take a peak at this article which shows why there was that much room to go up in the first place. Hint, it's because since he took office, household income dropped like a brick and created that room. Oh and it's still not as high as it was before he took office...8 YEARS AGO!

"We lifted 3.5 million people out of poverty" --> You mean the ones you put there? Good job, it only took you 8 years!

"The uninsured rate is the lowest it has been since they kept records" --> Right, because the number of insured is clearly a measure of the affordability of healthcare. Here's a bank account (with nothing in it)...you're now RICH!

Talk about a basket of deplorable...

Also note that 2013 hike UP due to a change in the calculation method.  That probably accounts for what...30-50% of this "surge"?!?!?

From a personal perspective, I can't complain too much. My career has been doing well and I am better off financially than I was a few years ago. That being said, my current employment has fixed salaries based on position/title and I am leveling off from an income perspective. Each position in my office is doing significantly worse than when I started and the decline literally started with the Obama administration. Now, I can't blame the economic downturn on his presidency in full, but there is something to be said about the fact that it hasn't even leveled out. Inflation and salaries have not kept pace with each other and the bottom line is that people are hurting because of it. Healthcare, fuel, loans (watch the sub prime auto loan market!), food and other necessities are killing the common man. It would be nice to break even. It would be nice to have some actual "hope and change" from our elected officials, no matter their party affiliation.
