Walked into Dicks Sporting Goods in Paramus at 9:45am not a soul at the licence machine, go back at 9:55am, line out the door..screw play it safe purchased my tags online with my phone

Seems like a lot of people want a bear. There was a line where I got mine. Imagine the online sales are going fast.

The Walmart I went to had a long line too. Guy tried selling someone from out of state just a bear permit without a hunting license... he asked the next guy how many does he wanted to shoot so he could get them enough permits. But I got mine so I'm good

I had to do two separate transactions to get two tags.....friend went to a well known store in Sussex County, they told him one tag only

Got mine today at Simon Peters.  About five people in line in front of me.  The guy being helped when I walked in bought, I think, all of NJ and half PA theirs.  What a PIA.

I went to The Bullet Hole and was told the same thing, then they realized you had to do two separate transactions. I got two. Sounds like the well known place may not have thought to try twice.

I think NJ residents should get first crack and out of staters  should have to wait.
