I have two sets of the Dead Ringer Uni-Bead for sale - never used but out of their original packaging. Each comes with:

1. the sight itself

2. two green light pipes

3. one orange light pipe

4. one white light pipe.

5. Five different sized screws to fit many (but not ALL, see below) shotguns with a threaded bead

I'm selling each for $6.  I'll ship it free anywhere that USPS will ship for a single stamp (will just fit in a regular envelope - the sights are out of the original plastic packaging, but I'll send the small instruction paper that came with it).

PayPal only - post in this thread to claim one or both and I'll PM you back. (haven't sold anything on NJ W&W yet - is that the rules? That you make a public post in the thread rather than PM?)

OK, now the story behind these.  :D

So I lost the bead on my Beretta A300 Outlander while shooting trap the other day. I ordered this Dead Ringer Uni-Bead to replace it. Problem is, the hole in the sight is too big and the screw can't put pressure down on the sight to hold it in place - the sight just spins around the screw. I posted a thread on this earlier. Here's a video for what I'm talking about. I suppose I could have put a glob of threadlock under the sight and on the rib to help, but that just doesn't seem right to have to do that. The screw should at least put SOME pressure downward on the sight, but its not doing anything of the sort.

I emailed Dead Ringer about it and they sent me a second one to try. But the same thing happened with that one. I think the design of this sight is just that it won't fit on a Beretta due to the fact the Beretta uses the smallest of the five screws. I bet it would fit fine on shotguns that use the bigger screws.

So, if you have any Beretta (or any shotgun for that matter) that has thread sizes of 3-56 or M2.6x.45, do not buy this from me. The other size screws this comes with (and which probably works fine - I read the reviews and lots of people are happy with this) are 6-48, 5-40, M3x.5.

That is all.

Anyone want one of these DeadRinger Uni-Beads? I still have two sets. Amazon sells them for $10, I'll sell each set for $6 a piece. Shipping will be free - but it won't come in the original packaging though to save on shipping costs. I'll just put the bead, extra light pipes, and screws in an envelope. But you can see what the packaging looked like with the instructions and you can see what the bead with its spare light pipes look like here:

Remember - do NOT buy these if you plan on putting it on a Beretta! Won't fit.
