Ok I was wondering who changes when they get to their spot. And who just gets dressed at home and drives wearing it. Pros and cons to why? I change at the spot. For bow season. I keep my clothes in a scent free bin with corn.. .my reason asking is it seems to take me longer in woods, and rushing at times..and I'm driving far now..

I always keep my clothes in a bin and get dressed at the location. When I'm done hunting they go in a plastic bag and home to wash them. Best to keep as much unnatural scent of the clothes as possible. Driving with them on just exposes them more to the scents in your car.

Always get half dressed at parking spot and finish up either at base of the tree or once I get in it

Sometimes if I don't have a lot of time I leave dressed and come home the same way. But if I have time I keep my clothes in a Rubbermaid box with baking soda and pine branches etc.

I wear my base layers into my spot and do a final wipe down with a scent elimination cloth at the base of the tree and then finish getting dressed.. However once in the tree, the head mask and hunting gloves go on. I wear two different sets of gloves... One set to get to and then up in my stand and then a scent free set once I settle in... Coming down and then out to me does not matter, i stay dressed all the way back to the car except for the face mask because they are going into the wash anyway... I wash and wear my hunting outfits only once per hunt..

However, we are never going to beat their noses regardless... Guess it's a physiological thing for us hunters...

I keep my clothes in a bin with fresh earth wafers, change where park. Everything but the tighty whiteys. Not so bad now but when it's 35° out it SUCKS!

I leave my house ready to hunt, hunting clothes on, but run the Ozone Go in my car as I am driving.  When I get back home, the clothes go in the gear bag and I run the ozone unit on them.

I generally leave the house with pants and boots on but leave all the rest of my outwear out in the car.  It may hurt, but I still had deer coming within 10 yards of me a few times last year and pass by without ever reacting.
