Try hanging a Bird Feeder near your treestand. Not only are they fun to watch when it gets slow, but they have a calming effect on Deer. They will get used to you being there and care less. The Seed Blocks work great.

Makes great sense.  The sounds of songbirds feeding tells other forest creatures that there is no danger in the area.  Especially not from the camo dude way up in a tree with a funny stick and string.

I dont know about that in bear country, i've seen bears do some interesting things just to get to bird seed.

Good idea and deer will also feed under it. I've had the deer under mine in the yard eating the seed

The more I think about this the more I like it.  We had 12 cardinals at our deer feeder last year and I remember them better than I remember the deer that came in.
