Buck hit off Church Rd in Medford

Saw a nice buck on the side of the road tonight on my way home. Turned around to get a pic only to find it was still alive. Broken back, looked pretty busted up. Couldn't even lift its head. I didn't have anything in the truck to finish it off with so I just called the cops. Shame the buck had to suffer that long, wish I could carry and could use it...would have been over a lot quicker. Cop eventually got there and said he'd take care of it and asked me to leave...assuming it's probably best to not be around when they discharge a firearm.

 

Anyway here's a pic of him. Shame to see them go like that.
