There are a few locations along the Musky that have a bunch.  I know people that have found dozens in the same fields near the river's edge, but I never get lucky when I'm there.  Actually, most trout streams flowing into the Delaware had native Indian settlements on them and finding items like this are common.  Just not common for me  :)

Personally, I'm not convinced its a real arrow head..  This is  Prolly nothing more then what i call "the Virgin Mary effect" . You know, those loons who can find a formation of the Virgin Mary in  the bottom of a used Porta John, or where ever...You want it to be something so bad you over stretch your imagination to achieve your objective.. In this case you want it to be a real arrow head belonging to a high ranking tribal hierarchist if you will, with all kinds mystical powers and so you over look the obvious..Looks to me like its most likely just an odd ball formation or weathered piece of white stone.. No real evidence of human manipulation.. Just my 2 cents worth..

This coming from a guy that needed a long range gun to still hunt for Mountain lions (smack head). Hey I have a great idea. Why don't you take your 2cents and sticke'm in your eye.

Authenticity was confirmed by Historian that manages the property where it was found. It was found in an area with high concentrations of confirmed Indian activity and recovered relics. Believe what you wish
