just got their latest magazine of "trout". just wanted to share that the cover is really cool. beautiful shot of a brown trout rising for some dries. havent had the chance to read any articles yet but that magazine is always a good read. join trout unlimited and help your cold water fisheries!

also      for the volunteers who took out probably close to 100 tires out of the south branch the past few weeks. i love seeing all the tires stacked up next to the bridges. yes its a shame they were tossed into the river in the first place, but at least there are a few good people out there willing to get wet and muddy and remove them. good job

As far as how the tires got there after a Flooding rain fall the banks of the Raritan get over washed and what is along them goes downstream  After Sandy they found from Cars - Drums. - Pallets you name it. Friends of many Rivers Bays Parks Beaches sportsman Clubs have Clean ups. I have done a few Beach cleanups and Bayshore clean ups. Found a Roll Of 20s with elastic band years ago Had to wait 30 days then it was Mine lets just say large amount. Police said they would hold it YEA Right I held it after some arguing.,

I've been a member for about 16 years now and have severed as chapter education chair, conservation chair, VP, and president. On the state council level, I've been Trout In the Classroom (TIC) coordinator statewide having started that program in NJ, Vice Chair, and currently state conservation chair. I also spent 7 years on staff as the Musconetcong Home Rivers Initiative coordinator. So I guess you could say yes.

Donations you always get back something when you donate.  Be it your time, money, Goods. To say NO is False You always get a Thank You, a Good feeling you did something to help others. It is what they offer and what you offer. and always will.

I get back every time we Help Those in need be it in times of Disaster or Supporting an Event from  Veterans to Local  Events I am sure you did not mean ( NO )  It all becomes the right thing to do
