7/5 Slow flukin

Headed out with John, Booner and Rocky today .

fishing was slower than it’s been all week .

way too many shorts , to keepers .

only boxing 6 fluke .

seemed no matter where we went we couldn’t get away from ling .

fished a lot of ruff spots from 45-95’ and it didn’t seem to matter .

amount of ling out there is ridiculous.

 

got home to Tracey making fluke burgers. .This may be my favorite way to eat fluke .

posted this recipe a few months ago when she first made it. .

Saw you guys out there. We only had shorts there so I ran north. my buddy and I boxed 5, just couldn't find the last keeper. Like you said there was a good amount of ling. I don't remember catching this many as this year. 

The fluke burger recipe I will have to try. Looks good.

Anyone wanting ling right now just needs to find any structure and they are 20-30’ thick .

normally the numbers are better out past 95’ but this year they are everywhere
