Elephants eat peanuts

Not quite a doormat but close enough call it a bath mat. Headed out with @SPEARFISH 6:15 am.  Tons of short life and we got 5 keepers. Had to land over 75 fluke easy..  After wind dropped off bite got finicky so went to light baitcaster and 10# braid.  4 ounce sinker with drop shot 5” gulp split tail shad.  3 of my 4 keepers came in this rig including a 22.5” 4# and dandy 27” 7.5# fluke. Can’t recall last time I had fluke pull drag like that!   Dennis netted it perfectly. We got our seabass and some  ling and a bluefish too.  Beautiful day on the water.
