Buying an out of state truck in NJ

I'm buying a 1994 F150 from Connecticut but Connecticut does not issue titles for 20+ year old cars. Is there a way for me to make one trip to CT and get this thing or do I need to get the title, come back to NJ and then go back to CT when I get things squared are at NJ DMV. Also, how for they handle the no title thing here in NJ?

Best call DMV and get the correct answer.  I would never trust a random internet site for legal advice, not even on gun laws on NJH.

Truck is spotless frame is super solid. It's my second California truck. I restored a Mustang and a Bronco so I know how important it is to have a rust free truck. Bodywork is more expensive than motor work.
