You multiply beard length by 2 . So two 8” beards x 2 = 32 

Left spur -  .75 x 10 = 7.5    Right spur - .75 x10 = 7.5   
 

Total score = 47

Ok, thanks man.  Maybe I read it wrong, i thought it said the beard measurements had to be converted to decimals as well then you add the decimal figures together.  Turkey scoring all new to me

Just means if the beard measures 8 1/4 you would convert the 1/4 to .25 .
