This is my 6th one, every 4 years since I was 40.

good luck - currently on every 5 years since i'm under 40 and had my first last year.

I had the lesser version (Sigmoidoscope) during routine physical exams given to me by the corporation I worked for. When I retired, it was recommended I do a Colonoscopy. Since I have had no issues, I opted out of further Colonoscopy's and did the test instead. I don't believe in doing them for no good reason.

You're a better man than I am, I finally got around to it at 60.  Everything was good and the doctor said to come back in 10 years, but I highly doubt that I'll be doing that again at 70.

I've had 6 so far. No big deal. Hopefully, the doctor and nurses didn't see my chode.

I'm on the 5 year plan now. The procedure is a breeze, it's the prep I think we all can do without.

The last time I had it done . the prep did a number on my stomach.
