Fluke bombs

Tracey finished tying up a bunch of fluke bombs I had cast and stardust painted .

These will only come out looking for BIG fluke. .

cast these with a 9/0 hook to fish 8” gulp grubs .

Looking to build a couple more rods this year. What blanks are you fishing. I have seeker black hole lami looking for something different. One for 4-6 oz conventional. One 2-4oz spinning

No chrome ones? They are the hottest of all for clear water on sunny days. Chrome with glow white mullets crush fluke

I actually like the Penn battalions in 12/20 7 foot for stuff 4-6 oz . 

I have them rebuilt acid wrapped because we can’t just buy the blanks .

stuff over 6 oz I like the BH 731m

spinning I’m using fenwick elite in shores

This stuff is all for deep water fluke . 75’ to 125’

I understand, I will use them that deep as well and  they indeed make a difference even that deep. Also tie up some with actual living rubber and not silicone. Much more action, splay out at rest and breathe like hair will. I have been fishing bombs for over 20 years from 1/2oz to 10oz

I actually like real bucktail the best . But we already have a few hundred of those tied

When I read the title of your post, I thought you had some explosive device that would finally allow our friend @JHbowhunter “catch” a legal fluke.
