West Virginia Rep. Riley Moore introduced HR 1181, the Protecting Privacy in Purchases Act which would make it FEDERALLY illegal to create merchant codes for the purposes of tracking firearms and ammunition transactions.

HR 1181 was introduced on February 11th and is now up to 58 co-sponsors. At the moment, no New Jersey representatives have co-sponsored HR 1181.

I called Kean's office and spoke with someone on this bill and informed them I'm a member with the NRA, GOA and would be contacting him again if he doesn't vote for this bill.
