First Wahoo

Snuck away before the snow last Thursday and finally got out on a charter on our annual Cayman Islands vacation.  Early morning trolling had me hooked with a 30+ Wahoo.  Fished with Blacktip Charters and Captain did his best to get us on the Yellowfin, but 3 others on the charter missed the fish on hookup.   I wound up with a barracuda that we used for bait but nothing was happening.   Friggit ? Birds were soaring over us but the 4 hour charter flew by.   Fresh Wahoo steaks last night and Ceviche is for tonight’s dinner.  I went out yesterday but WiFi sucks here and just found a spot to write.  Lastly, we were here for the 7.6 earthquake last week and scare of a sunami which subsided hours after the 3 additional aftershocks.

Also a bucket list fish for me. Fished in curacao in November with the hopes of getting one. It didn't happen but we caught a few blackfin for a good meal. Nice fish congrats
