LITTLE TO NO TAIL! That about sums up my life  :laughing::rofl:

Thanks!  I got a needed laugh outa that one!

A Maine game biologist (forgot if he was wardon or a state biologist) guest lectured for one of my college classes eons ago and commented that this is sometimes from coyote unsuccessfully hamstringing deer.   Forgot how the conversation came up.  We had a few different guest lecturers come in and it was 45 minutes of awesome stories and cool stuff.

I know for a fact that one deer in Zone 3 back in the 80's had its tail was shot off by a guy with a muzzleloader whose scope was all jacked up.  We NEVER let him forget it.  Called the deer, which we saw a few more times,  Baboon Ass for obvious reasons.  Gave him a tail mount and all.  Good times.  Not for the deer.
