Hard water and chilli...

Hit the local pond yesterday to walk the edges and clean up what people lost. Bugs made out good.

Then came home to some great chilli, not gonna toot my own horn but I make some good chilli toot toot lol. And it's real chilli NO BEANS

Oh yeah….why no beans??  It’s the only time I eat beans…in my chili. I heard beans may not freeze well…but that’s been debunked since I just had some that was frozen and it was tasty!!  Lol

Beans are disgusting it's a texture thing, my wife is the only one in the house that will eat them so she's out numbered 3-1.

Real chilli doesn't have beans and only poor people put beans in their chili because they can't afford to fill it with meat. I poor AF but shoot enough deer to make pure chill lol

might as well put it in a bun instead of in a bowl

We were poor growing up and I remember as kids we would pick those nasty beans out and spoon em off to the side which pissed off mom.
 

Nowadays I like em in there to help me blow wicked farts for the kids to laugh at and scare wife outa the room!!  Lol.

And nowadays we are not as poor and always have plenty of meat in there…sometimes it’s a “must go” chili….when we have leftover pork chops, chicken, or steak that gets diced and it “must go”….so it goes right into the chili along w the staple venison chopped meat!

I agree w @hammer4reel…without beans…it’s hamburger helper sloppy joe!  Lol.
