A Black widow bow has always been on my bucket list to own.   Is anyone shooting a carbon limb one?  What grip are we shooting? Thanks in advanced.

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.

I currently have 3 Blackwidows!!

My favorite is the 60”PSA I just had built.. its green leaf has cooling grip no carbon,  shoots really nice. I prefer a lower wrist grip & enjoy the look of an all wood bow. My other two widows are PSR with standard grip. In my opinion they are a great company to deal with and the bows do everything I need! Just shot a winter bow doe last week just before the snow.

I bought mine used, one of Nelson Poyers bows, that was when the only choice you got was red or gray! There's a reason why they call them plywood bows, virtually indestructible. Bought my son a "custom" one when he graduated high school in 06. Great hunting bows

I owned, shot and sold about 10 widows in my time.  All my bows were pma risers and various limb lengths and weights.  Ive had standard and asbell grips before they had other options.  I would prefer the cooling grip for my shooting style today.  Ive shot a couple widows with the carbon limbs and would prefer the glass instead.  The carbon may add a few fps but limb will be slightly louder and stiffer draw.  There is no difference in limb profile between glass and carbon not adding any true benefit.  Make sure the window length accommodates your shooting style along with the longest limb (at the length you prefer) the smoother the bow.  I like the mass weight of the risers heavy so G10 material would be my choice for riser laminations.

Gobblengrunt knows more than I and is a better shot than me. I always shot split finger with a lot of cant , 29.25” draw so I preferred a short riser and long limbs. If I shot a bow enough I could get used to any grip, except a long bow with a barrel grip….
